Ongoing Monthly Painting/Craft Workshop Teacher/Organizer
We currently have one or more openings for once-a-month or occasional workshop teachers and organizers. Our current specific search is for a once-a-month experienced and skilled miniature painter and teacher, but if you are a master at another high-interest game-related craft, feel free to contact us about it!
Paint-and-Take Workshop Teacher Schedule:
- We would like to resume running a monthly paint-and-take event on a Saturday or Sunday. The weekend day may alternate, to accommodate customers who cannot attend one day or the other.
- It is anticipated that each event will run between 11 am and 5 pm, including time for setup.
- The week of the month is flexible, within reason, based on your availability.
Game-Related Craft Workshop Teacher Schedule:
- These would probably be one-off or irregularly scheduled events, scheduled for 4-6 hours on a weekend day, on days that work with the store’s and your schedule.
Painting/Craft Teacher Requirements:
- Must be age 18+ (OK, if you’re under 18 and amazing at your craft, email us. We’ll talk.)
- Demonstrate a high skill level in your craft.
- Be personable and patient.
- No criminal record. Non-negotiable.
- Must be legally able to work in the US. Payment is made on a W-2 basis, except in very limited circumstances.
-
Long-Term Dungeons & Dragons 5E+ Dungeon Masters

Dungeon Master Schedule:
We are hiring Dungeon Masters for four time slots. The times below include a 15-minute buffer on either side of the anticipated event times. Player age ranges are approximate, and exceptions are to be considered on an individual basis.
- Thursday evenings, 5:45 pm to 9:15 pm (3.5 hours). Adult group (Player ages 16+).
- Saturday afternoons, 1:15 pm to 3:45 pm (2.5 hours). Kids group (Player ages 7/8 – 13).

- No criminal record. Non-negotiable.
- Must be legally able to work in the US.
- Consistent availability (nearly) every week, including on most holidays when the store is open.**
- You must have no obligation to take multiple trips a year that would interfere with your schedule, for example, camping with your elderly parents three times every summer or frequent trips for your day job on days you are scheduled.
- Expected long-term availability of at least 12 months–this is not intended as a temporary position. It’s not a contract, and you’re not held to it, but it’s not intended as just a gig for a couple months.

- Access to 100% reliable transportation that isn’t the city bus, unless you’re applying for an afternoon-only position on a day the bus runs.

- Maturity and tolerance (within reason), and the ability to achieve and maintain order in a group of up to 7 adults or 7 children from age 7 or 8, depending on position applied for.
Nice to Have, but Not Required:
- Availability for any special events that we may run in the future.
