Return to Ravnica will be released the first week of October. Return to Ravnica (RTR) is the most hotly anticipated Magic release in many, many years. The original Ravnica: City of Guilds was one of, not the most popular Magic sets in history. RTR brings the Magic game back to the city-plane of Ravnica with tons of great new cards as well as reprints of the “shock lands”. The shock lands are tournament staples, particularly in the Modern Constructed format and are highly sought after.

We are currently taking pre-orders in the store for sealed booster boxes of Return to Ravnica. Many stores, including the “big 3” online are pre-selling RTR boxes for $120! As a service to our great customers we are continuing to maintain our standard pre-order price of $100/box! Box pre-orders will be honored through pre-release weekend (while supplies last!) at the price of $100. Unfortunately we cannot take credit card orders over the phone, so you must come to the store to reserve your box. Payment must be made in full at the time of reservation.

Return to Ravnica will undoubtedly be a hot commodity for the near future. Like other popular sets demand will outstrip supply for at least the first month or two of the set’s release. Also, online speculation points to most stores selling boxes of RTR after release for full retail price–$144! We have not determined a price point yet for box sales post-release, however we absolutely cannot guarantee that boxes will be available for sale at all post-release if you did not pre-order one!
