Conflux, the next expansion for Magic: the Gathering, is right around the corner! We will be hosting the Pre-Release on January 31, (registration opens at 11am, first round starts at noon)and the release party on Febuary 7th (registration opens at 11am, first round starts at noon). For the Pre-Release, we will be running a Sealed Deck tournament. We will be charging $25 for the tournament and will have prizes of Conflux to give out. If we get more than 25 players, we will give 1 box to first place, and divide a second box amongst the other top 8 finishers. Every player will recieve 3 Conflux and 3 Shards of Alara boosters to make their decks with. Basic land will also be provided to borrow at no cost. Conflux will go on sale here in the store on Febuary 6th. We are taking pre-orders ($100 per box pre-paid cash price) for pick up on the 6th.

The Free Tournament

We were planning a free tournament for the 10th of January, but with the upcomming Conflux release, we are moving it to March 14. This tournament is Legacy format and we will have prizes based on turnout (Store Credit/Gift Certificates!) The cost is free! Just bring your best deck and have fun.

FNM In Febuary

FNM will switch to drafting 2 conflux/1 Shards on Feb 6. We will also be switching to Store Credit for prizes at this time. We have been enjoying a larger turnout every week (we have had 24 drafting!) and we hope to see that number grow. Please remember--Due to the time constraints FNM will be run with either 3 or 4 rounds (depending on attendance), but will not go longer.

Buy Old, Win New

We are still running this program. Buy any Tournament Pack, Booster Pack, or constructed deck of any product older than the newest release, and get a ticket or two. Write your name and phone number on the back of that ticket and when we get 500 tickets, we will draw a ticket and that person will receive a free box of Magic Boosters from the latest set.

Thursday EDH

Elder Dragon Highlander is gaining popularity again and we are planning on starting up a league soon. We do currently have some players dropping in on Thursdays to play and more are always welcome. This is a casual event that is also free.

Monday Night Discount Draft

We have been running a draft at a discounted price on Mondays. This is a casual event and the cost is currently $6 (Subject to change).
