DC Comics Deck Building Game

The Relentless Dragon carries the full line of Cryptozoic Entertainment’s DC Comics Deck Building Game. We have featured this game several times as our “Game of the Month” and it has always been extremely popular! We have demo copies of most of the line available to play in the store. DC Comics DBG, as it is commonly known, is an extremely quick game to learn, but the strategies are very deep. Because of the sheer number of cards available, no two games will ever be the same.

DC Comics Deckbuilding Game

The game that started it all! In the DC Comics Deck-building Game, you take on the role of Batman™,Superman™, Wonder Woman™, or one of their brave and heroic allies in the struggle against the forces of Super-Villainy! While you begin armed only with basic combat maneuvers, you will add new more powerful cards to your deck as you go, with the goal of defeating as many of the DC Comics Super-Villains as you can. In the end, the player who has accumulated the most Victory Points from the cards in his or her deck wins the game!

The DC Comics DBG contains 214 cards, 7 oversized super-hero cards, and a rulebook. The game supports 2-5 players.

DC Comics Deckbuilding Game: Heroes Unite

Heroes Unite is both a standalone game and an expansion to the original DC Comics DBG. In Heroes Unite, you take on the role of Hawkman™, Shazam™, and other DC Comics super-heroes against a varied cast of super-villains.

Game play is identical to the original game, but offers an all-new experience with different super-heroes and their abilities, new super-villains, and new powers, techs, and locations to build your deck with.

The game contains 214 cards, 7 oversized super-hero cards, and a rulebook.

DC Comics DBG: Crisis Expansion (Pack 1)

In the Crisis Expansion, you will face epic challenges, events, and destructive forces. But this time, you won’t be alone! The Crisis Expansion introduces co-operative gameplay and an “Impossible Mode” to the original game or Heroes Unite.

Players must team-up to defeat all of the Super-Villains before time runs out! The eight original Super Heroes and 12 original Super-Villains from the first set have been reimagined for this ultimate showdown.

For players that prefer the original competitive format, there are six all-new Super Heroes and a slew of new main deck cards to add to your game. The Crisis expansion includes 60 cards and 14 oversized super-hero cards.

DC Comics Deckbuilding Game: Forever Evil

Why shouldn’t super-villains have their day in the spotlight? In the Forever Evil game you can play as one of 7 super-villains. Craft a truly evil deck, and give those Justice League do-gooders what’s coming to them!

Forever Evil introduces Victory Point tokens to the DC Deck-building Game! Now you can earn VPs throughout the game. Just be on the lookout for cards that can steal your VPs before the end of the game.

While this game is a full-fledged standalone game, it can also be mixed with all previous releases. Forever Evil contains 206 cards, 7 oversized super-villain cards, a sheet of tokens, and a rulebook.

DC Comics DBG: Rivals – Batman vs. Joker

Rivals – Batman vs. Joker is a head-to-head showdown between Batman and his arch-nemesis, the Joker. This set is a great introduction to the Cerberus Game Engine, which is used in the best-selling DC Comics Deck-building Game line of products. The addition of the direct attacks will appeal even to seasoned deck-building fans.

Players will build the best deck they can, and then launch a direct attack at their rival. Both Batman and the Joker come with 3 oversized cards. You must defeat all three iterations of your rival in order to win, but be warned–each time you defeat one, the next becomes that much harder to defeat.

Rivals is a complete game for 2 players and can also be mixed in with the other games in the series. Rivals contains 98 cards, 6 oversized super-hero and super-villain cards, and a rulebook.

DC Comics DBG: Crisis Expansion (Pack 2)

The DC Universe is in peril… again! In the Crisis Expansion Pack 2, you will face some of the most epic challenges, events, and destructive forces in the history of comic-dom. As a Crisis Expansion you can expect co-operative gameplay and “Impossible Mode” Super-Villains for fans of the popular and critically acclaimed deck-building game. But you’ll also find new Super Heroes and new main deck cards for competitive players. Truly something for everyone!

Players must team-up to defeat all of the Super-Villains before time runs out! The eight Super Heroes and 12 Super-Villains from Heroes Unite have been reimagined for this ultimate showdown.

For players that prefer the original competitive format, there are six all-new Super Heroes and a slew of new main deck cards to add to your game. The Crisis Expansion 2 includes 61 cards and 14 oversized super-hero cards.

DC Comics DBG: Crossover Pack #1 – Justice Society of America

Playing as a new JSA Super Hero will add new strategies and goals to your gameplay. New Super-Villains will spice up the First Appearance Attacks that players have grown to love and fear. Finally, a few signature Super Powers, Equipment, Heroes, Villains, and even a Location for the main deck will add a little bit of extra JSA flavor to the set.
